Implementation of the Right to Information Act, 2005 -

  • Any citizen can obtain information from the concerned Public Information Officer/Department by paying a fee of **₹10**. The said amount is deposited in the Major Head-**0070** - Other Administrative Services, Sub-Major Head-(**60**) - Other Services, Minor Head-(**118**) - Receipts under the Right to Information Act, 2005.
  • Ministry Level: In the Ministry, the **Deputy Secretary** (Government of Chhattisgarh) is the **Appellate Authority**, and the **Under Secretary** is the **Public Information Officer**.
  • Commissioner & Registrar Office: The **Joint Commissioner** of Cooperatives and the **Joint Registrar** of Cooperative Societies are the **Appellate Officers**, and the **Assistant Commissioner** and the **Assistant Registrar** are the **Public Information Officers**.
  • Divisional Offices: The **Appellate Officers** are the **Joint Commissioner** and the **Joint Registrar**, and the **Public Information Officers** are the **Assistant Commissioner** and the **Assistant Registrar/Auditing Officer** of the concerned office.
  • District Offices: The **Appellate Officers** are the **Joint Commissioner** and **Joint Registrar** of the concerned division, and the **Public Information Officer** is the **Deputy/Assistant Commissioner** or **Deputy/Assistant Registrar** of Cooperative Societies.
